  • Appearance
    Bright amber.
  • Nose
    Red fruits (strawberries?), old leather, brown sugar and raisins.
  • Taste
    Soft oak, cinnamon, stewed fruits and a Seville marmalade tang.
  • Finish
    Very long with spicy liquorice, slowly drying.

    Predominantly 1st Fill European Oak Sherry Casks.

  • Paired with glazed ham

    Spicy liquorice and stewed fruits in the whisky are the perfect match for the roasted honey sweetness of the ham or bacon. Simple and rewarding.

  • Paired with rhubarb

    The contrast of sweet and sour in the rhubarb goes well with the complexity of the 25 year old. Add praline ice cream to bring out the sweetness in the whisky – and a hint of toasted oatmeal on the nose.

  • Paired with blue cheese

    The salty fattiness of the cheese stretches the flavours of the whisky – especially the notes of orange marmalade.
