"Glengoyne isn't just a product of the place, of course.
It's also testimony to the skills and commitment of the people who have made
it their life's work."

How Would You Describe Working at Glengoyne:
Billy describes Glengoyne as "a great place to work, I love it. Both the people and
the place are fantastic. I'm really lucky to work in such a beautiful setting.
Distillery Story:
When I first started in 1973 the "dramming" process surprised me, it consisted
of supplying the distillery workforce with drams of whisky whilst they were on duty. At
Glengoyne the men received a LARGE dram for their morning break, one at lunchtime and one
at the end of their shift. I can't really remember the first two months at Glengoyne but I
soon built up an immunity for all this whisky! Most distilleries used to give their staff
glasses of new spirit, fresh off the stills but at Glengoyne we were always lucky enough
to be given mature whisky and we were allowed to select the week's cask from the warehouse
and we were always sure to pick a good one!
