Glengoyne is ‘dram’ pleased to announce the winner of the Glengoyne Worth the Wait competition, Chris Dwyer from Glasgow. Chris (pictured here with the 21 year old malt) was chosen out of 477 entries and has won the full Glengoyne core range, for submitting the best Worth the Wait moment in his life and why:
“Total Eclipse, Easter Island July 2010. 10 years of saving and anticipation, including share saving account especially for it was wiped out by financial crises. Also, getting to the most remote and mystical island in the world, and not even knowing if the sky would be clear. It was, and what an awesome and spellbinding sight.”
Congratulations Chris.
The runners up who won a specially selected bottle of malt from the stunning collection are:
Thijs van de Nieuwenhof, Netherlands
Andrew Smith, Aberdeenshire
Wayne Allan, Fife
Elaine Cochrane, Stirlingshire
Neal Biddle, Manchester
Lisa Wilson, Fife
Emma Jepson, Derbyshire
Cédric Leprette, France
Victoria Collins, Nottinghamshire
We hope you agree it was definitely Worth the wait and a lovely Christmas treat.
Well done to all and many thanks to everyone who entered the competition. We wish you a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year. Look out for more Glengoyne competitions in 2013!
