July 2006
All New Online Shop

This
month sees the launch of the all-new Glengoyne Online Shop, which
has been significantly upgraded to offer 'real time' online shopping.
A new shopping basket and online ordering system has been developed
to allow you to order from our fantastic range of products more easily.
The shop has been integrated with WorldPay - part of the Royal Bank
of Scotland Group – so that Debit and Credit Card details can be entered
safely and securely online. Purchases can be confirmed immediately,
meaning that orders will be winging their way to you faster than ever
before!
Of course, despite the technological advances, the most important
thing has remained – the timeless quality of our whisky....
THE REAL TASTE OF MALT !

Ron Retires
Ron Low is truly a Glengoyne great. He started in 1967, just as the distillery was being expanded and modernised (he witnessed the installation of electricity and flushing toilets).
For well over 30 years Ron was Glengoyne Head Brewer. One of
Ron's favourite jobs was to choose the "drams". The dram was
the large drink that the entire workforce enjoyed three times
each day, just to get them in the mood you understand. Faced
with such great responsibility, Ron would disappear into the
warehouses for hours on end, emerging staggering under the burden
of a weeks worth of drams.
